Dr Cameron Robertson

Dr Cameron Robertson is a Vascular Surgeon practicing in Tasmania. Born in Canada in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Dr Robertson spent his youth exploring the mountain peaks around Banff. He moved to Australia in 2009 to pursue his medical career. After graduating medical school in Adelaide, Dr Robertson trained in highly regarded hospitals around Australia including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in Brisbane, the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, and the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Adelaide. During his training he had the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced and respected Vascular Surgeons in Australia.
Dr Robertson was awarded his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Vascular Surgery in 2021 and moved to Hobart to begin specialist practice.
Dr Robertson practices in all areas of Vascular Surgery but he has a specific interest in minimally invasive procedures to treat peripheral arterial disease. One of Dr Robertson’s guiding principles is that the patient should have an understanding of their condition and the treatment options, and that a personalised treatment plan is vital to modern Vascular Surgery.
Dr Robertson is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, a staff specialist at the Royal Hobart Hospital, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Tasmania.
